Photo Diary III: Kinton Ramen

They say a great relationship doesn't happen because of the love you had at the beginning, but how well you continue building love until the end. For us, this usually means spontaneous dates :P

Bear doesn't usually like going out much (he prefers home cooked meals), so when we do, it's a real treat :) Today, we decided to walk to Yonge & Finch for lunch. I was really craving some ramen, so we ended up at Kinton Ramen. There's usually a 30-45min wait for 2 people, but since we went around noon we got seated right away, but it didn't take long for the line to form at the door.

We got our usual Original, Rich Pork Broth w/ Thick Noodles :) Super yummy as always.

Got a Java Chip Frap on our way to Yonge & Finch, which is about a 32 minute walk from our condo. Need that excercise :)! The perks of living right beside Starbucks is that you become a Gold Star member really fast.

&&&& walking some more....

We're finally here, got to sit at the bar. I love watching the chefs cook. For all those that haven't been to Kinton Ramen before, it's usually really loud becasue the chefs shout orders to each other. Wish I spoke Japanese so I know what they're saying. They usually shout extra loud when the guy is cooking the noodles.

Giant wooden spoon for the soup :)

Their deep fryer wasn't working today, so couldn't get my Takoyaki. Had to get the Ton Ton Don instead.

Our noodles are here :)

Bear got extra pork.... soo much meat :O
